Dr. Berman, CGS Part B Medical Director for Ohio will be in Columbus and speaking only to DCs like you about the ins and outs of Medicare Billing and Coding.  You can take this four hour course in the morning and make it back to your office after lunch with a newfound confidence in how your office handles Medicare patients!

  1. Provide insight into the Comprehensive Error Rate Testing program
  2. Summarize the CGS J15 Part B Local Coverage Determination on Chiropractic Services
  3. Provide clarity of the regulatory requirements for chiropractic services
  4. Provide clear documentation guidance on medical necessity for chiropractic services

About The Speaker: 

Earl Berman, MD CGS Part B Medical Director

Dr. Earl Berman, a native of Savannah, GA, attended Benedictine Military School, University of GA, and Medical College of GA. He has been in the practice of general internal medicine for over 20 years in diverse practice environments. He has practiced in large multi-specialty groups/clinics, urban private practice, rural private practice, sports medicine, student health, hospice, nursing homes, and assisted living. His administrative experience includes being a managing partner in an internal medicine group, managing a five county sports medicine practice, hospice medical director, Medicare CMD for Part B GA, RAC CMD for PRGX auditing 14 states for Medicare and other private/government contracts, and now Chief Medical Officer for CGS. Dr. Berman prides himself in being available to discuss issues promptly and professionally. He also promotes the four cornerstones of communication: clear, concise, correct and considerate.
