In this course, you will learn how to deal specifically with the palpation and adjustment set-ups needed for the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacroiliac regions. The Spine course will cover spinal biomechanics and adjustments, along with case management. Dr. King strives to show you ways to assess the spine in a way that fuses movement assessment with dynamic palpation and a hands on understanding of the best treatment approaches. You will gain additional knowledge and confidence to diagnose and treat complicated neuromusculoskeletal problems.

 

About the Speaker: 

 

Dr. Mark King is a 1982 honors graduate and collegiate athlete from Florida Southern College and a 1986 cum laude graduate from Life Chiropractic College. He started Mt. Lookout Chiropractic & Sports Injury Center with his wife, Dr. Donna Moloney in 1987 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. King continues to practice in a multi disciplinary setting. Dr. King is on the postgraduate faculty of National University Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois. In 2001, he became the third President of the Motion Palpation Institute and continues in that capacity. Dr. King began teaching for the Motion Palpation Institute in 1994 and has taught throughout the world. He teaches the following classes: MPI Spine, Extremities, Upper and Lower Dynamic Movement Assessment and MPI Masters Series - Shoulder, Disc, Gait, and Whiplash Associated Disorders. Dr. King has written extensively for Dynamic Chiropractic along with co-authoring a case presentation for JMPT on cervical spine instability following a traumatic automobile accident. He has co-authored the booklet "Condensed Case Management for Chiropractors" with his brother, Steve King, DC.
