This seminar will teach you how the shoulder girdle complex is both affected and effected by posture, respiration, gait and pelvic floor/core function.


A workshop hands on type presentation with lecture covering:

  • What is a functional exam and why it is important for differential diagnosis,
  • A thorough review of the relevant anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder girdle complex,
  • Discussing why posture, gait, respiration and pelvic floor/core issues are important in shoulder complaints,
  • How to use the functional exam findings for exercise prescription,
  • Hands on workshop of functional clinical tests, articular and soft tissues adjustments and exercises,
  • Interesting case histories and "clinical pearls" gleaned from 34 of practice,
  • Clinical useful procedures to use the next day in the office!

About Dr. Booher: 

After graduating from the National College of Chiropractic, Lombard, IL. in 1983 Dr. Greg Booher began clinical practice in 1984 with his father and brother in Piqua, Ohio. In 1989 he became a Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist receiving the Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics degree ( DABCO ) . Since 1984, with the exception of when he moved his family to Brazil to practice chiropractic in 1994-1995, has remained in full time practice with his two brothers in Piqua, Ohio. After completing all Motion Palpation/Dynamic Adjusting courses twice with Dr. Leonard J. Faye in 1982-1993 and staying updated since through courses with the Motion Palpation Institute he later taught several functional shoulder girdle evaluation/manual treatment courses in Brazil ( 2006-2008). Dr. Booher currently blends global functional  orthopedic/biomechanical analysis with chiropractic manual manipulation, nutritional and soft tissue rehabilitation in his comprehensive family type chiropractic practice.
