|Lifetime Achievement Award|
2015 Honoree: Dr. Burl Morris
OSCA Lifetime Achievement
When the OSCA was founded in 1969, one aspect of the organization’s mission was to advance the highest standard of ethics in practice. To continue our efforts of furthering this goal, the OSCA announces the creation of a new award, to be given to one individual each year at the annual convention.
The recipient should be one who has been licensed for a minimum of 10 years, whose practice and dedication to chiropractic has served as an inspiration and guiding light to many. This person is well-known and respected by peers, patients, and the general public. Factors considered in the selection process include: span and scope of career; estimated number of lives individual has touched through his or her work; legacy of the individual’s work, including the promotion and advancement of chiropractic; additional awards or honors received; and references.
Nominations may be submitted for the 2016 honoree. Nominations will be reviewed by the OSCA staff, and the winner will be selected by the OSCA Board of Directors Membership Committee. The winner will be recognized at the Saturday evening gala of convention on October 1, 2016.
