Aetna – Held another call with Aetna. They are forming an internal work group to find a solution to the situation. I have been told we will be provided a plan by the middle of May. We have a called schedule with them on the 16th of May.
Ohio Health Choice – We held a call with OHC last week. This was an impromptu call that was to just find out where they are on things. They shared they are still working to find the right way to work with SecureCare considering the OPPOC contract. We have a good relationship with them and are hoping to see some real movement in the next couple of months. – No New Update
Care Source – We held another call with CareSource on April 21st. It was a good call. It appears we are still on track with a July 1 roll out. We will hold another call with them in 30 days.
Paramount / ProMedica- Had a great meeting with the CEO of ProMedica. He was very open to how chiropractic could fit in to their benefits. He even commented about adding chiropractic to their own plan design. We will be following up with him and his team in the next 30 days. – No Update
Molina – Great news here, we did another reach out and received a response. We actually held a call with them on April 28th. The call went well and it appears that Molina is interested again in doing a similar pilot program as CareSource. We have been working with the SecureCare team and are providing Molina with a pilot proposal today. We hope this will lead to more activity for our members.
MMO – Held a meeting with two VP’s from MMO yesterday. It was a good meeting and is leading to another meeting this month with more team members from MMO. They were very receptive to the model and want to begin working out the specifics of what it would look like if they went with SecureCare. This is a very promising sign.
