Course Description:

The objective of this webinar is to provide you with a summary of the state-of-the-science regarding cost effectiveness, clinical outcomes and safety of chiropractic.

Some of the science we will discuss...

• chiropractic adjustments prevent fatigue and increase muscle strength

• for an episode of back pain, complex medical management costs were more than 4 times more expensive than chiropractic care while physical therapy costs were double those of chiropractic care

• including chiropractic interventions with standard obstetric care for low back and pelvic pain during pregnancy benefits patients more than standard obstetric care alone

• spinal manipulation is a cost-effective treatment to manage neck and back pain

• for Medicare beneficiaries, risk of injury within 7 days was 76% lower among subjects with a chiropractic office visit than among those who saw a primary care physician

• and more…
