Hour 1: Hot Topics in Chiropractic.  This hour will review new exciting research related to the chiropractic profession, make a DC feel really good about this profession, and provide doctors with a credible yet efficient answer to “I have a friend/co-worker/physician/employer, who doesn’t believe in chiropractic. What should I tell them?”

 

Hour 2-3: Case management. This hour sets the stage for the entire seminar. We review a simple but powerful schematic which summarizes proper, evidence-based, case management related to both passive and active care, relief to wellness. By the end of this hour you will clearly discover simple solutions to challenges you may have had with getting care authorized. Knowing the literature makes it much harder to deny necessary care. Learn “The art of the appeal".

 

Hour 4Guidelines: Learn about new acute and chronic care guidelines produced by CCGPP, and the latest in "terminology". Goal: improve patient care and get your treatment plans approved! This hour will include many positive revelations, including how to fight back against bad consultants!!

 

Hour 5: Official Disability Guidelines (ODG): Understanding the truth about ODG and other guidelines. This hour will be filled with surprises! Learn how to better manage and document your work comp and personal injury patients and make it harder for bad consultants to deny your requests for care. Learn the mechanics of a strong appeal.

 

Hour 6:  Safety of Chiropractic-Research Awareness/Exam and treatment procedures.   This hour will review the latest literature regarding spinal manipulation safety.  Learn the mechanics of a proper examination and how to use "informed consent" as an exciting patient education tool. Can manipulation really cause a stroke?
